翠西·艾敏CBERA(英语:Tracey Emin,1963年7月3日[2]),毕业于英国伦敦大学伯贝克学院,塞浦路斯土耳其裔英国艺术家,英国艺术家群体“青年英国艺术家”成员之一。

早年生活[编辑]

翠西·艾敏来自英格兰西南方小镇马盖特,母亲曾经经营一个旅馆,父亲是土耳其裔塞浦路斯人,许多作品因此和土耳其的题材有关。艾敏13岁的时候被性侵,同年辍学,之后在咖啡馆、酒吧游荡。1978年时,艾敏参加全英国的迪斯可舞蹈锦标赛,一群曾和她发生过肉体关系的男人叫嚷着“妓女、妓女”(slag、slag),公开地羞辱她,让她不得不落荒离开舞场,也决心离开她成长的小镇。之后艾敏经历了一次流产、两次堕胎、数次的自杀未遂,这些不顺遂的经历都成了她创作上的来源[3]
