聋哑
聋哑以往是用来形容失聪且无法说话，需使用手语沟通的人。此一词语现在也用来指无法用口语沟通的失聪者，或是失聪者有部分口语能力，但因为声音和一般人不同，为避免注意，而选择改用手语沟通[1]。有些人认为此一词语现今是有贬义的词语[2]。
