萨莉·鲁尼（英语：Sally Rooney，1991年2月20日—），爱尔兰作家，2017年出版首部长篇小说《聊天记录》（Conversations with Friends），次年《正常人》（Normal People）出版，曾在欧洲大学辩论大赛中获得最佳辩手称号[1]。在《纽约客》的一篇采访中，萨莉称自己是永远的马克思主义者[2]。

萨莉的作品刻画了年轻世代遭遇的阶级、世代、身份鸿沟及凯尔特之虎后的经济衰退，勾勒出千禧世代的精神困境。[3]

早期个人生活[编辑]

1991年，萨莉·鲁尼出生于爱尔兰卡斯尔巴，并于那里长大[4]。父亲供职于爱尔兰电信公司，母亲经营一间艺术中心，她还有一个哥哥和一个妹妹[5]。萨莉·鲁尼曾就读于都柏林大学三一学院，并于2011年获得学院奖学金。她本来选择了政治学硕士研究生学位，后转修美国文学[5]。2013年，在参加欧洲大学辩论大赛时，萨莉·鲁尼被评为最佳辩手[1]。在成为作家前，萨莉·鲁尼曾在餐馆工作[1]。

作家生涯[编辑]

萨莉·鲁尼15岁的时候完成了她称为完全是垃圾的第一部小说[5]。2014年，她开始专心写作，在修美国文学硕士的同时用三个月完成了十万字的《聊天记录》（Conversations with Friends）。在与 Wylie 经纪公司签约后，《聊天记录》（Conversations with Friends）收到了七家出版商的竞标，版权卖至十二个国家，并于2017年在英国由 Faber & Faber 出版。《聊天记录》（Conversations with Friends）简体中文版由上海译文出版社2019年7月出版；繁体中文版由时报出版社于2021年5月出版。

2020年，《正常人》由BBC Three和Hulu改编成影集。[6]
