前棱蜥形目（Procolophonomorpha）是早期爬行动物的一个目或演化支，出现于中二叠纪。它们包括多样性的动物，包括小型、类似蜥蜴的前棱蜥，还有大型、有厚甲的锯齿龙。最重要的次分类是前棱蜥亚目，传统上被认为是龟鳖目的祖先。Lee在1995年、1996年、1997年提出龟鳖目从锯齿龙类演化而来。Rieppel与de Braga在1996年、1997年提出龟鳖目从鳍龙超目演化而来。
