苯甲酰基

在有机化学中，苯甲酰基（英语：benzoyl）是一种官能团，分子式为C6H5CO-。[1][2]
苯甲酰基不能与苯甲基（英语：benzyl）混为一谈，后者的分子式为C6H5CH2。苯甲酰基通常缩写为Bz，而苯甲基则缩写为Bn。
苯甲酰氯是苯甲酰基的首选来源，用于制备苯甲酰酮、苯甲酰胺和苯甲酸酯。
