NGC 1399 是天炉座的一个椭圆星系。位于天炉座星系团的中心[2]。
概要[编辑]
NGC 1399属于CD型星系，拥有明亮的核心和周围巨大的弥散结构[3]。该星系周围有大量球状星团，估计约在5700[4]到6500个[5]之间。
NGC 1399中心有一个质量约为太阳5亿倍的超大质量黑洞[6]。
