他文語是一種在老撾和泰國由他文族人使用的語言。在老撾大約有1,770名使用者，主要集中在波里坎塞省坎格縣。另有750名使用者生活在泰國沙功那空府頌道縣的Ban Nong Waeng (在Pathum Wapi鄉)、Ban Nong Charoen和Ban Nong Muang。[3]
他文語在韻尾展現出清與氣聲、無標記與聲門化的4重對立。這和比爾語支的情況很像，不過它的聲門化落在元音上。[1]（頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館）
