大眾集團MQB平台

福斯集團MQB平台是大眾集團的發動機橫向前置的模塊化平台，從2012年開始開始啟用。

MQB是Modularer Querbaukasten（橫向模塊化）的縮寫。^[1]^[2] 乃是福斯集團Modularer Baukasten（模塊化結構）計劃的一種，同類的計劃還包括福斯集團MLB平台，即發動機縱置的平台。^[3]

MQB平台可以生產從A00、A0、A到B四個級別的車型，並將取代目前的PQ25平台、PQ35平台和PQ46平台。所有使用MQB平台的車型，無論軸距、外部尺寸如何，均可共享相同的前軸、踏板箱、發動機布置。

說某個車型是「使用MQB平台搭建」的時候，其本質上並不是某個平台，而是一個合理引入了共用發動機放置方向的系統。MQB將大量的汽車零部件實現標準化，令它們可以在不同品牌和不同級別的車型中實現共享。這一技術的應用可以將不同品牌的不同車型在同一個工廠里生產出來，這將極大地降低車型的開發費用、周期以及生產環節的製造成本。^[4]^[5] 福斯汽車開發業務總監Ulrich Hackenberg把MB計劃稱為「戰略武器」。^[3]
