大沙鼠（學名：Rhombomys opimus）是大沙鼠屬(Rhombomys)中的唯一物種[2]，主要發現於中亞地區，是已知最大型的沙鼠，身長15到20公分之間。
外形[編輯]
大沙鼠中較大的個體身長約15-20厘米。它們每個門齒上有兩個凹槽，顱骨分明。它們前爪較大，易於挖洞。[3]
分布[編輯]
大沙鼠主要分布在沙地和荒漠地區，包括土庫曼斯坦、哈薩克斯坦、蒙古國、中華人民共和國、巴基斯坦、阿富汗和伊朗。[1]
