德國酸菜搖滾 （英語：Krautrock ，德語：kosmische Musik ，也叫cosmic music[7] 實驗搖滾 類型 ，在1960年代末期的德國發展開來。[9] 迷幻搖滾 、前衛 、電子音樂 、放克 、簡約音樂 、即興爵士 世界音樂 的曲風，和英美兩國搖滾樂傳統的藍調 、搖滾 風極為不同，並強化了電子音樂 、氛圍音樂 的流行、派生出了後龐克 、另類搖滾 和新世紀音樂 這三種類型。[4] [10] 罐頭樂隊 、發電廠樂團 、Neu! 灰燼太陽神殿 、橘夢樂團 、Popol Vuh Faust
