梅泰族（Meithei people或Meeteis）是印度東北部曼尼普爾邦的主體民族。
語言[編輯]
梅泰族說梅泰語，又稱曼尼普爾語，一種屬於漢藏語系藏緬語族庫基-欽語支中的語言，與印度的庫基語和那加語比較接近。梅泰部落的一個祖先聲稱他是帕蚢蚆，一種傳說中的龍。[2]
