沃納·巴克斯特（英語：Warner Baxter，1889年3月29日—1951年5月7日）是一名美國電影演員，曾獲得奧斯卡最佳男主角獎。[3]
生平[編輯]
沃納·巴克斯特出生在俄亥俄，9歲的時候父親去世，他跟隨家人一通前往了加州的舊金山。1906年舊金山大地震中，他們一家在一個帳篷中住了幾周。1910年，他開始參演喜劇，很快又開始轉向舞台劇。1914年，他出演了自己的第一部無聲片。由於外形俊朗帥氣，他在無聲片時代擔當了許多重要角色。1933年，他曾經同瑪娜·洛伊演過對手戲。1936年以及1937年，他曾經演過幾部冒險電影。1936年時，沃納·巴克斯特是好萊塢最值錢的男演員之一，他的記錄是28400美元。不過在1943年，他失去了人氣，淪為B級片演員。1950年拍攝了自己的最後一部電影，因為深受關節炎的困擾做了一項醫學界黑歷史的腦白質切除術（lobotomy)，結果手術後沒多久他就去世了。沃納·巴克斯特在好萊塢星光大道擁有一顆自己的星星。[4]
沃納·巴克斯特一生之中總共經歷了兩段婚姻，第一段開始於1911年而且很快就結束了。在這之後，1918年他迎娶了第二任妻子，雖然兩人沒有孩子，不過這段婚姻一直持續到1951年男方去世為止。[5]
