戈多丁

戈多丁（威爾斯語：Y Gododdin，發音：[ɡɔˈdɔðɪn]）是次羅馬時期不列顛東北部（現在的英格蘭東北部和蘇格蘭東南部）的一支的布立吞人，位於被稱為「古老北地」的地區。戈多丁由威爾士語詩歌《戈多丁》得以聞名，這首詩記錄了卡特里克之戰，通常認為是阿內林所著。

Gododdin這個名字是現代威爾士語的形式，通過古威爾士語的Guotodin演變而來。羅馬時期的希臘語文本證實，Guotodin來自於布立吞語單詞Votadini。[1]
