弗朗西斯庫斯·伯納杜斯·瑪利亞·「弗蘭斯」·德瓦爾（荷蘭語：Franciscus Bernardus Maria "Frans" de Waal，1948年10月29日—2024年3月14日），是一位荷蘭靈長類學家和動物行為學家。
生平[編輯]
弗蘭斯·德瓦爾出生在荷蘭北布拉班特省斯海爾托亨博斯，接連在奈梅亨拉德伯德大學，格羅寧根大學和烏特勒支大學學習，經歷了靈長類學家揚·范霍夫的訓練後於1977年拿到烏特勒支大學生物學博士學位。他的學術論文是研究獼猴的侵略行為和聯盟形成。[1] 他多次說受到了同行尼古拉斯·廷貝亨的啟發。[2]他是亞特蘭大埃默里大學心理學系靈長類行為學教授。[3]還是多部動物行為學書籍的作家。
