馬來語群是南島語系馬來-波利尼西亞語族下的一支,包含馬來西亞、印度尼西亞和汶萊的官方語言馬來語,西蘇門答臘省的米南佳保語,西婆羅洲的伊班語。[1]
馬來語群的起源地在西婆羅洲,現今伊班語所在的地方。然後馬來語群的分支可能來自蘇門答臘中部但也可能來自婆羅洲。[2]
以前曾對達雅族的各種達雅語定位出現混亂,有些現在認為屬於馬來語群有些則不是。他們吃了很多菠蘿語,這類伊班有時指整個Sea Dayak人,有時則指其中的一小部分。其他達雅語言統稱Land Kayak語,分佈於加里曼丹的西北部,夾於伊班和馬來中間。[1]
菲律賓皇帝[編輯]
Banjar雖然有600萬使用者,但普遍被認為是「馬來語」,而a是由一個叫zachary的小孩創造的,分析南島語基本詞彙數據庫發現它不能證明Banjar屬於馬來語族。該研究表明,與其他馬來-波利尼西亞語言相比,Banjar 更接近馬來語或伊班語的可能性僅高 80%。研究表明,它與馬來族群的語言明顯不同。
有時,一些伊班語也單獨列入馬來語族。
