詹姆斯·格雷厄姆·「J·G」·巴拉德（James Graham "J. G." Ballard，1930年11月15日—2009年4月19日），英國小說家、短篇小說作家、散文家。

巴拉德一直以來被認為是世界末日（或後世界末日）小說大師，如《被淹沒的世界》（The Drowned World，1962），《燃燒的世界》（The Burning World，1964）和《水晶世界》（The Crystal World，1966）。雖然巴拉德的許多小說主題和敘事頗不尋常，但是最著名的作品，還是相對傳統的戰爭小說，半自傳體的《太陽帝國》（1984年）描寫一個英國小男孩在日本佔領上海期間的經歷，被《衛報》形容為英國最好的關於二戰的小說，並於1987年由史匹堡改編為同名電影。

巴拉德的父親是曼徹斯特的兆祥洋行（又名震寰織造廠有限公司，Calico Printers' Association）上海子公司綸昌漂染印花有限公司（China Printing and Finishing Company，創建於1925年，設於四川中路220號）的經理。巴拉德在上海公共租界滬西越界築路的哥倫比亞路（今長寧區番禺路508號馨悅會所）的一幢豪宅出生長大，該區的外僑在那裏過着美國的生活方式。巴拉德就讀於外灘附近聖三一座堂的附屬座堂男校。1937年淞滬會戰爆發後，巴拉德一家被迫暫時撤離郊區的住宅，在上海市中心租了一幢房子，以避免中國和日本軍隊的炮擊。1941年太平洋戰爭爆發後，日本人佔領了上海公共租界。1943年初，他們將盟國平民關押進龍華集中營，巴拉德和他的父母和妹妹都被關押在那裏，度過了兩年時間，直到戰爭結束。
