初級裁判所（英語：First-tier Tribunal）是英國法院系統的一部分。2008年根據《2007年裁判所、法院和執行法令》設立，其目的是為了是裁判所系統更加合理，以取代原有的二十個裁判所的職能，並由英皇陛下法院及審裁處事務局管理。

審裁處內庭及司法管轄權[編輯]

初級裁判所系統目前分為4個內庭，各有其管轄的領域，其中普通管理庭的司法管轄權較為廣泛。每個內庭還可以進一步劃分為內庭分庭，其劃分大致能夠反映出初級審裁處整合之前的裁判所之管轄權。管轄權轉移和裁判所整合的計劃自2008年開始目前仍在進行。

司法人員[編輯]

初級裁判所包含法官和其他成員。符合法定條件的前裁判所成員在管轄權轉移時都將成為初級裁判所法官，而非法律專業人士（通常是前裁判所專門領域之專家）作為其他成員繼續存在。新的法官和成員由司法任命委員會任命。[17]

此外，下列人士亦可作為初級審裁處法官出庭：[18]

  • 上級裁判所法官
  • 上訴法院法官
  • 蘇格蘭民事法庭法官
  • 高級法院法官
  • 巡迴法院法官及治安法官
  • 地區法官及地區裁判法院法官

初級裁判所由裁判庭高級主席主持，目前是Carnwath大法官。每個裁判庭均有庭長，分庭有首席法官。[19]

大多數案件當中，判決由一名法官與兩名其他成員作出，但各庭及各分庭亦有不同，根據個案也有變化。[20]

上訴[編輯]

大多數案件可以上訴之上級裁判所，但需要的到初級裁判所或上級裁判所的許可。行使損害賠償和政治庇護支持的案件一般無上訴權，但可以申請上級裁判所對初級裁判所的裁決進行審查。[21]
