馬丁·奇克
馬丁·羅伊·奇克（Martin Roy Cheek，1960年—）是專門從事研究食蟲植物豬籠草屬的分類學家和植物學家。[1]
馬丁·奇克曾就讀於雷丁大學，1981年取得理學士學位，1983年取得理學碩士學位。1989年在哈佛大學取得哲學博士學位。[1]
研究領域[編輯]
馬丁·奇克與馬修·傑布一同對豬籠草屬進行了大量的研究，並發表了兩部重要的著作：1997年的《豬籠草屬（豬籠草科）的框架性修訂》[2]及2001年的《豬籠草科》[3]。
在兩本專著及其他研究中，馬丁·奇克描述了許多豬籠草屬的新物種，其中大部分是與馬修·傑布共同作出的，包括擬翼狀豬籠草（N. abalata）[4]、源小豬籠草（N. abgracilis）[5]、阿札潘山豬籠草[6]、阿金特豬籠草（N. argentii）[2]、馬兜鈴豬籠草（N. aristolochioides）[2]、熙德豬籠草（N. cid）[5]、丹瑟豬籠草（N. danseri）[2]、上位豬籠草（N. diatas）[2]、絕滅豬籠草（N. extincta）[7] 、胡瑞爾豬籠草（N. hurrelliana）[8]、奇坦蘭豬籠草（N. kitanglad）[7]、倉田豬籠草（N. kurata）[7]、藍姆豬籠草（N. lamii）[2]、驚奇豬籠草（N. mira）[9]、毛律山豬籠草（N. murudensis）[2]、內格羅斯島豬籠草（N. negros）[10]、拉莫斯豬籠草（N. ramos）[11]、羅伯坎特利豬籠草（N. robcantleyi）[12]、薩馬島豬籠草（N. samar）[13]、泰國豬籠草（N. thai）[14]和超基豬籠草（N. ultra）[15]。馬丁·奇克和馬修·傑布將大葉豬籠草（N. macrophylla）提升為一個獨立的物種。[2]
