Bitconnect（縮寫：BCC）是加密貨幣界中的高收益投資龐氏騙局之一，宣稱每日可得到1%的報酬率[a][2]。2018年1月16日，Bitconnect平台關閉，其貨幣價值暴跌，並於2018年8月10日後，終止任何交易。
進入公眾視野[編輯]
社交媒體人物Trevon James和CryptoNick是Bitconnect論壇的常客，CryptoNick更是稱自己為「17歲的加密貨幣百萬富翁」[3]。另外最令人矚目，並在網路爆紅的是一段主題演講影片。影片拍攝在一次在泰國的Bitconnect宣傳活動中，邀請嘉賓卡洛斯·馬托斯（Carlos Matos）情緒激昂，極力鼓吹Bitconnect以及自己的投資經歷。尤其在貨幣價值暴跌後，影片得到了病毒式的傳播[4][5][6]。
批判和暴跌[編輯]
從貨幣發行以來，Bitconnect的多層次傳銷結構就令人懷疑是龐氏騙局[7][8][9]。以太坊創始人維塔利克·布特林更是直言不諱地指出這是一場騙局[10]。Bitconnect市值一度躋身所有加密貨幣的前20位[11]，並在2017年12月達到歷史最高位463美元。但直到次年1月底，其市值連續跳水至5.92美元[12]。Youtuber "希多BitWhale"在2017年10月27日Youtube發佈了一個影片，以種種疑點，批判Bitconnect為龐氏騙局[13]
在經歷市值跳水時，Bitconnect聲稱將以代幣方式償還所有剩餘貸款，匯率為每BCC 363.62美元。然而與此同時貨幣市值已跌破10美元，使得這筆支付對投資人追回錢款幾乎沒有幫助。 [14][15]
法律問題[編輯]
2018年1月16日，Bitconnect宣佈將關閉旗下交易所，並暫停貸款業務。其收到了來自德克薩斯州和北卡羅萊納州監管機構的關停命令。[16][17][18][19][20]
2018年1月31日，肯塔基西區地方法院授予臨時限制令凍結Bitconnect資產，並調查虛擬貨幣錢包和交易賬戶地址，以及90天內的資金去向。[21]
