布莱恩·道格拉斯·威廉斯（英语：Brian Douglas Williams[1]，1959年5月5日—）是一位美国记者和主持人，他从2004年至2015年主持NBC夜间新闻，年薪约1,300万美元。在2007年，他被时代杂志选为时代百大人物[2]。在2010年，他被一个著名的媒体观察家评为“21世纪的沃尔特·克朗凯特”[3]。

布莱恩生于美国新泽西州一个爱尔兰裔家庭[1][4]，父亲戈登·路易斯·威廉姆斯（Gordon Lewis Williams）是美国全国零售商协会（National Retail Merchants Association）的行政副总裁[5][6]，母亲桃乐茜·梅（Dorothy May）是一名业余演员[4]，他在家中排行最小，对上有3个兄长[7]。他幼时在纽约州生活过10年，之后随家人迁回新泽西州，并于当地入读初中[8]。

高中期间，曾经当过3年志愿消防员[9]，亦在学校报章当过编辑[10]，曾经在一次足球比赛中受伤，撞歪了鼻[11]。

中学毕业后，入读布鲁克代尔社区学院（英语：Brookdale Community College），之后转到美国天主教大学及乔治华盛顿大学继续学业[12]。1970年代末辍学，为吉米·卡特政府做实习生，他对此抱憾终生[13]。

争议[编辑]

2015年2月，布莱恩被爆出其讲述多次的传奇经历，在2003年伊拉克战争中乘直升机被击落后紧急迫降的故事，全部是虚构，《星条旗报》取得关键证据后2月7日只好出来承认并道歉，连带也有人开始怀疑其2005年飓风卡特里娜中报导大量浮尸等耸动性风格的过往报导，也许全部是添油加醋的杜撰[14][15][16][17]。此事之后NBC将其暂时停职。[18]2015年6月18日，NBC宣布NBC晚间新闻平日主播改由原周末主播莱斯特·霍尔特担任，但布莱恩仍留任NBC新闻主播，担任MSNBC频道的新闻主播。
