灵气疗法是由日本人臼井瓮男在1922年开创的一种替代医学疗法，[1][2]过程只需透过双手，把能量传输到受者使其身体回复平衡，以促进情绪稳定，改善健康状况，称为“心身改善臼井灵气疗法”。灵气疗法的从业者称这是一种普遍的生命能量，[3]但没有任何证据证明这一说法。[4]
由于目前缺乏大量实证，灵气疗法被认为是种安慰剂效果。美国癌症协会表示，灵气疗法不应取代常规癌症治疗，[5]这一声明得到英国癌症研究所[6]与美国国家补充和综合健康中心的支持。[7]
