马耳他城市列表

这是马耳他城市列表。根据大多数其他国家在指定城市时使用的通常标准，马耳他的城市太小而不能被认为城市，事实上马耳他有时被认为是一个单一的城邦。[1]马耳他的城市在历史上的某个时间点获得了“città”的称号。在马耳他的法律中，城市，乡镇和村庄之间没有区别；而城市地位纯属荣誉。马耳他分为68个地方议会。具有城市地位的地方议会的纹章顶部都设有壁形金冠。该表列出马耳他历史城市：

维多利亚 Città Victoria 1887 Gozo地区（英语：Gozo (region)） 6901 哥佐岛首府。1887年6月10日维多利亚女王禧年之后，由Pietro Pace主教和首席大法官Golden Jubilee提出的请愿书获得的城市地位。[6]
森格莱阿 Città Invicta 1565 东南地区（英语：South Eastern Region） 2784 1565年马耳他之围之后，城市地位得到确认。[7]
锡杰维 Città Ferdinand 1797 南部地区（英语：Southern Region, Malta） 8367 Don Salvatore Corso和居民提出申请，1797年12月30日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教长授予的城市地位。[8]
瓦莱塔 Città Umilissima 1571 东南地区（英语：South Eastern Region） 6444 自1571年3月18日起为首都。[9]
扎巴尔 Città Hompesch 1797 东南地区（英语：South Eastern Region） 15404 根据Don Carlo Caruana和居民提出的要求，1797年9月14日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教长授予了城市地位。 1801年，Hompesch门建成纪念这个事件。[8]
泽布季 Città Rohan 1777 南部地区（英语：Southern Region, Malta） 11903 在居民请愿之后，1777年6月21日由Emmanuel de Rohan-Polduc大教长授予的城市地位。1798年，De Rohan Arch门为纪念这一事件而建造。[10]
榟橔 Città Beland 1797 东南地区（英语：South Eastern Region） 11508 Don Giacomo Michele Tortella和居民提出申请，1710年12月30日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教长授予的城市地位。[8]
