威廉·亨利·哈德森（William Henry Hudson；1841年8月4日—1922年8月18日），阿根廷名吉列爾莫·恩里克·哈德森（Guillermo Enrique Hudson），是一位英格蘭-阿根廷作家、博物學家和鳥類學家。

哈德森是丹尼爾·哈德森和他的妻子凱薩琳的兒子，父母是移民至阿根廷的美國人，有英格蘭和愛爾蘭血統。故居位於今大布宜諾斯艾利斯南部。[1]
1846年，這家人在更南邊的查斯科穆斯開了一家雜貨店，附近環境優美[2]，小哈德森開始研究當地的動植物。
哈德森於1874年移居英國，在貝斯沃特的聖盧克路（St Luke's Road）定居[3]，在那裡他度過了一生的大部分時間。1876年，他在倫敦肯辛頓與他的房東、前歌手艾米莉·溫格雷夫（Emily Wingrave）結婚。她比哈德遜大11歲，出生於1829年12月22日[4]。這對夫婦沒有後代[5]。1900年7月4日，哈德森自然歸化為英國公民[6]。
哈德森在1889年結識喬治·吉辛，直到後者逝世為止他們一直保持著聯繫，探討文學和科學問題。[7]
1911年，艾米莉因病搬到了蘇塞克斯的沃辛。此後，哈德森「出於自身健康的原因」與她分居。儘管從他們的信件中可以清楚地看出，哈德森仍經常去看她且保持著親密的關係。
哈德森於1922年8月18日在聖盧克路40號的家中去世，並於1922年8月22日被安葬在沃辛的布羅德沃特和沃辛公墓（Broadwater and Worthing Cemetery），他的妻子在1921年初去世。 [8]

他進行了大量鳥類學研究，出版了《阿根廷鳥類學》（Argentine Ornithology；1888-1899）和《英國鳥類》（British Birds；1895）等作品，後來又寫了不少關於英格蘭鄉村生活的書，如《漢普郡的日子》（Hampshire Days；1903）等。
哈德森最著名的小說是《綠色寓所》（Green Mansions；1904），他的紀實作品《Far Away and Long Ago》（1918）在1978年翻拍為同名電影。
科學觀點[編輯]
哈德遜是拉馬克主義的倡導者，批判達爾文主義並為活力論辯護，受塞繆爾·巴特勒的著作影響較大[10][11]。他是英國皇家鳥類保護協會的早期成員。
