瑪塔拉佐出生和成長於紐約州納蘇縣，母親Camille是家庭主婦，父親Ray Matarazzo是一家麵包店的經理。[2]瑪塔拉佐是愛爾蘭後裔，她被一個嚴格的信仰天主教的義大利裔美國人家庭收養長大。[3]
