野孩子

野孩子（英語：feral child）是指從年齡很小就開始與世隔絕，而不懂得人類社會行為和語言的孩子^[1]。野孩子極其少見，在世界上僅有一百餘個已知案例。在這些案例中，大部分是人為禁固的情況，有部分是被確定為是由野生動物養育的例子。視地理環境而定，多半是由猴子^[2]^[3]^[4]、狼^[5]^: 15–7等具有社會性的動物養育。

神話和小說中的野孩子，常常是由諸如狼或熊等野生動物餵養。

法國電影導演法蘭索瓦·楚浮於1970年導演的《野孩子（英語：The Wild Child）》就是根據19世紀初法國一位野孩子的經歷改編，這位野孩子名叫維克多。
