馬爾他城市列表

這是馬爾他城市列表。根據大多數其他國家在指定城市時使用的通常標準，馬爾他的城市太小而不能被認為城市，事實上馬爾他有時被認為是一個單一的城邦。[1]馬爾他的城市在歷史上的某個時間點獲得了「città」的稱號。在馬爾他的法律中，城市，鄉鎮和村莊之間沒有區別；而城市地位純屬榮譽。馬爾他分為68個地方議會。具有城市地位的地方議會的紋章頂部都設有壁形金冠。該表列出馬爾他歷史城市：

戈爾米 Città Pinto 1743 Southern Region（英語：Southern Region, Malta） 16779 根據Don Giuseppe Vella提出的要求，由Manuel Pinto da Fonseca大教長於1743年5月25日授予城市地位。[5]
維多利亞 Città Victoria 1887 Gozo地區（英語：Gozo (region)） 6901 哥佐島首府。1887年6月10日維多利亞女王禧年之後，由Pietro Pace主教和首席大法官Golden Jubilee提出的請願書獲得的城市地位。[6]
森格萊阿 Città Invicta 1565 東南地區（英語：South Eastern Region） 2784 1565年馬爾他之圍之後，城市地位得到確認。[7]
錫傑維 Città Ferdinand 1797 南部地區（英語：Southern Region, Malta） 8367 Don Salvatore Corso和居民提出申請，1797年12月30日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教長授予的城市地位。[8]
瓦萊塔 Città Umilissima 1571 東南地區（英語：South Eastern Region） 6444 自1571年3月18日起為首都。[9]
扎巴爾 Città Hompesch 1797 東南地區（英語：South Eastern Region） 15404 根據Don Carlo Caruana和居民提出的要求，1797年9月14日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教長授予了城市地位。 1801年，Hompesch門建成紀念這個事件。[8]
澤布季 Città Rohan 1777 南部地區（英語：Southern Region, Malta） 11903 在居民請願之後，1777年6月21日由Emmanuel de Rohan-Polduc大教長授予的城市地位。1798年，De Rohan Arch門為紀念這一事件而建造。[10]
榟橔 Città Beland 1797 東南地區（英語：South Eastern Region） 11508 Don Giacomo Michele Tortella和居民提出申請，1710年12月30日，由Ferdinand von Hompesch zu Bolheim大教長授予的城市地位。[8]
