| 紋章描述 | Deutsch: „Über einem goldenen (gelben), mit einer halben roten Rose mit goldener (gelber) Butze belegten Schildfuß in Rot drei goldene (gelbe) Abtkrümmen.“
Die Abtskrümmen sollen an das ehemalige Benediktinerkloster Liesborn und auf die drei Ortsteile hinweisen. Die halbe Rose entstammt einem Wadersloher Kirchensiegel von 1538. English: „Gules, above a terrace in base Or, therein an half rose gules with a bleb Or, three croziers Or.“
The arms were granted on February 10, 1977. The three crosiers symbolise the former Benedictan Convent in Liesborn, which had many possessions in the municipality. The crosiers also symbolise the three villages in the municipality. The lower half shows a rose, taken from the seal of the local church from 1538. |
