美國航空航天學會，（英語：American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics，縮寫：AIAA）設置於美國的航空航天工程專業性協會。AIAA是國際宇航聯合會和國際航空科學理事會的美國代表。 2015年，它在全球航空航天專業人員中有30,000多名會員，大多數會員是美國人或居住在美國[2][3][4] 。
歷史[編輯]
美國航空航天學會在1963年設立，前身是成立於1930年代的美國火箭協會。
AIAA的使命是推動航空學和航天學領域中科學、技術、工藝的進步，並培養和鼓勵那些為此事業而奮鬥的人們的專業精神。發展至今，AIAA已經是全球最大的致力於航空、航天、國防領域的科學和技術進步和發展的專業性的非政府、非贏利的學會。AIAA在國際標準組織（ISO）中擔任太空系統和運營（TC 20-SC14）書記處，同時是美國國家標準所認定機構。同時，AIAA格外重視國際間的合作，是世界眾多國家發展航空太空的催化劑：它將來自各方的個人、企業、學術機構及政府聯合起來共同評估及改進航天工業的狀況；它在技術領域中對外展開交流，成立專門項目開展教育活動，成為國際問題開展客觀討論的論壇。其超過30,000名的會員中，來自學術界、政府部門和工商界的人員各占1/3。
