傑克與豌豆
《傑克與豌豆》[1]（Jack and the Beanstalk）是一則著名的英國童話。《傑克與豌豆》和另一則英國童話《巨人殺手傑克》（Jack the Giant Killer）有著類似的故事元素與情結。《巨人殺手傑克》改編成2013電影
《傑克與豌豆》有許多版本，其中最早付梓的是班傑明·塔巴特（Benjamin Tabart）的版本（1807年），但最普及的是約瑟夫·雅各布（Joseph Jacobs）的版本（1890年）。有看法[2]認為約瑟夫的版本可能比較接近口語流傳時的版本，因為班傑明的版本中含有說教勸世的內容，而口語流傳時的版本通常比較沒有這類成份。

Jack:Do we have any milk?
Mother:No, we don’t.
Jack:do we have money?
Mother: No, we don’t.
Jack: I can sell the cow.
Mother: Okay, Jack.
(in the market)
Man: You can have my beans.
Jack: OK. You can have my cow.
(Jack returns home with the beans)
Jack: Mom! Come here! Look out! Wow!
Mother: What are you doing?
Jack: I’m climbing the beanstalk.
Mother: Don’t fall!
Jack: I see a castle.
Mother: Be careful!
(in the castle)
Giant: Fee fi fo fum! I smell a little boy. Yum, yum, yum!
Jack: This is my father’s harp! This is my father’s bag of gold.
Giant: Stop! Come back!
Jack: Look, Mom. I have Dad’s gold and his harp.
Jack: Do we have any money?
Mother: C
Jack: I can sell the cow.
Mother: Okay, Jack.
(in the market)
Man: You can have my beans.
Jack: OK. You can have my cow.
(Jack returns home with the beans)
Jack: Mom! Come here! Look out! Wow!
Mother: What are you doing?
Jack: I’m climbing the beanstalk.
Mother: Don’t fall!
Jack: I see a castle.
