姆巴拉拉市（斯瓦希里語：Mbarara）是乌干达西部区的一座城市，也是乌干达的第二大城市，仅次于首都坎帕拉。姆巴拉拉分为6个区，是乌干达西南部主要商业中心，也是地区总部所在地[3][4]。2019年5月，乌干达政府向姆巴拉拉授予城市地位，于2020年7月1日正式生效[5]。
位置[编辑]
姆巴拉拉是烏干達重要的交通枢纽，位于马萨卡以西，首都坎帕拉西南約270公里[6]、姆布罗湖国家公园附近。该市平均海拔约1,147米[7]。
人口[编辑]
2002年，烏干達全国人口普查估计姆巴拉拉人口为69,400人。乌干达统计局估计2010年人口为82,000人。 2011 年，统计局估计該市年中人口为83,700人[8]。2014年8月，全国人口普查显示，姆巴拉拉人口为195,013人[2]。
