English: Here in the village of Yerseke, Netherlands, pacific oysters (locally called "creuse") that have been cultivated in the Oosterschelde, are kept in large oyster pits after they have been harvested, awaiting sale. The seawater in these pits is pumped in and out, simulating tidal movements.
