The prominent crater just to the upper right of center is Geiger. The larger crater to the lower left is 'Geiger R'. This image of the far side of the Moon was taken during the Apollo 17 mapping metric sequence, revolution #28. The selenographic coordinates of this image are 15.70° S, 156.80° E.
