南疆沙蜥 （學名 ：Phrynocephalus forsythii 鬣蜥科 沙蜥屬 的爬行動物 ，是中國 新疆 塔里木盆地 一帶的特有種 ，常生活於荒漠、乾旱的沙漠或戈壁灘邊緣地區以及有時在鹽鹼地或種植棉花、玉米的小塊耕地近畔。其生存的海拔範圍為887至3200米[1] 葉爾羌 （今新疆莎車 ）[3]
種加詞 「forsythii」來自英屬印度外交官道格拉斯·福賽思 的姓氏[4]
