液體火箭推進劑
具有最高比沖的化學火箭使用液體推進劑,稱為液體火箭。可分為單組元推進劑(如液化氣體),雙組元推進劑(進一步分為自燃推進劑與非自燃需要點火的推進劑[1])。此外,還有三組元推進劑。
大約有170種不同的推進劑被研發過,不含對推進劑的小的改型如添加劑、抗腐蝕物質、穩定劑等。美國對至少25種推進劑做過燃燒試驗。[2] 近30年來沒有新的類型推進劑被使用。[3]影響選擇推進劑的最主要因素是易用性、成本、危險/環境與性能指標。
