豪森登獎
豪森登獎（英語：Hawthornden Prize）是一項悠久的年度頒發的英國文學獎項。
歷史[編輯]
1919年由Alice Warrender創建於英格蘭。[1] 獎項來源於她創建的信託基金。[2] 41歲以下作者可以憑藉富有想像力的文學創作獲獎，包括詩歌或散文題材。[3] [4] 豪森登獎委員會每年會根據過去一年發佈的作品中選取優勝者頒發年度獎項，但也有間隔幾年都沒有獲獎者的情況，比如(1984–87, 1971–73, 1966, 1959, 1945–57).[5]
和其他文學獎項不同，豪森登獎並不徵求提交申請，與天主教相關的文學，歡迎小說，旅行寫作，藝術和歷史作品也包含其中。[6]
獎金[編輯]
豪森登獎的獎金隨着年度改變，1936年是100英鎊，1995年是2000英鎊。[7][8]
