殺手級應用

在市場學術語中，殺手級應用（Killer application）是指一個極具價值的電腦程式或服務，其具有較強的吸引力或必要性，而消費者願意為這個程式或服務購買特定硬體、軟體產品、作業系統產品或服務等^[1]。換言之，消費者購買了相關硬體，很可能只是為了執行這項應用，是故，殺手級應用能有效提高其所執行平台的銷量^[2]^[3]。
