The ownership of HAL SC is from [[Hindustan Aeronautics Limited]]. The company HAL were originally not so influential when running the club at first, as shown from their poor record before the 2010 I-League 2nd Division season in which the club achieved promotion. After promotion the company began doing a little more in the club. The first thing they did, and are still doing, is making the club a professional one by filling out the AFC Club Criteria.
