中文（繁體）：高雄港香蕉棚為香蕉出口專用倉庫，乃民國40、50年代之建築，為台灣經濟奇蹟創下輝煌的歷史，在高雄港發展中扮演著重要的角色。其歷史的足跡停駐在美麗的高雄港岸，緊緊相連的古老建築不僅延續了高雄人的歷史情感，更喚起了塵封的記憶，對於高雄舊港區之發展具有歷史意義，足堪保留作為歷史之見證。
English: Former Banana Warehouse used only for banana export, was built in the 1950s and 1960s and has witnessed the past export boom which contributed to Taiwan’s Economic Miracle. The Banana Warehouse is also considered historically important to the development of the old Kaohsiung Harbor area.Time has stood still along Kaohsiung Harbor, and a row of old buildings not only helps local residents to pass down memories from one generation to another but also brings back lots of collective memories.Old buildings stand still though time is slipping away. The Banana Warehouse was devoted to the economic transformation, and it should be well preserved due to its historical value in the development of the old Kaohsiung Harbor area. |
