日期 Das heutige Wappen wurde durch Gemeinderatsbeschluss 1930 festgelegt.
物件歷史 Die Gemeinde führt das Wappen einer mittelalterlichen Familie von Bassersdorf, deren Schild seit dem ausgehenden 15. Jahrhundert überliefert ist und in späteren Wappenbüchern in verschiedenen Abwandlungen auftaucht.
