English: The Galveston National Laboratory (BSL-4 Lab) on the campus of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. The Galveston National Laboratory at UTMB is the first full-size BSL4 lab located on a university campus in the United States. It is one of two National Biocontainment Laboratories constructed under grants awarded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases/National Institutes of Health (NIAID/NIH)
