描述	English: Longitudinal section of an adult Gastrodiscoides hominis (Digenea: Paramphistomata: Gastrodiscidae). a – oral sucker consisting of a tranverselly placed oval orifice, surrounded by a ring of muscular tissue and presenting in many specimens a slight papilla-like prominence; b – bulbous heart-shaped pharynx with the apex directed anteriorly; c – Nercous ganglia on the one side communicating with those of the other by means of a comparatively strong cord passing transversely behind oesophagus; d – oesophagus bifurcating behind the genital pore; e – genital pore situated posteriorly to oral sucker; f – vagina filled with eggs in mature specimen; g – ductus ejaculatorum h – large nerve cords which may be traced along the ventral surface of the two intestinal canals; i – two intestine canals caecally terminated about opposite the middle half of the caudal sucker; j – testes; k – water-vascular system closely attached to the intesine canal on either side connected with numerous fine canaculae; l – ovarium; m – main vitellogene ducts; n – vitellogene ducts with dendriform arrangement; o – ? p – caudal sucker.
