西雅圖酋長

西雅圖酋長

西雅圖酋長（Chief Seattle，約1786年—1866年6月7日）是美國華盛頓州境內的印第安人部落的領袖，信奉天主教，樂於與白人移民共處並同西雅圖的創立者之一戴維·斯溫森·梅納德建立了私人友誼。根據梅納德的建議，西雅圖即得名於西雅圖酋長。
