- title：优良或特色主题的名称 （为讨论页使用）
- 例：乔治·巴顿，见：Wikipedia:优良主题/Example
- lead：即主条目的名称，必须加入适当的格式和链接。避免加入任何粗体文字，且需与主题名称相同。
- 例：{{classicon|GA}} [[喬治·巴頓]]
- count：此主题条目的数量。
- 例：3
- image（自选）：此主题选用的图片。
- 例：GeorgeSPatton.jpg（见 Image:GeorgeSPatton.jpg ）
- imagesize（自选）本主题图片的大小（以像素计），若此格填空，会自动将像素设定为60。
- 例：80
- column1, column2, column3：用这三格将主题里的条目用项目符号一一列出，并适当地加入格式，炼结与优特条目的标志。
