深紅額鸚哥（學名：Psittacara finschi）原生於中美洲的瓜地馬拉、薩爾瓦多和尼加拉瓜，在巴拿馬和哥斯大黎加部分地區也有發現，生長於熱帶或亞熱帶的濕地森林中，平均壽命為15-20年，成年個體身長達28厘米，體重為135-175克。
