彭德爾山（Pendle Hill）是奔寧山脈的一座孤立的小山，位於英格蘭蘭開夏郡的東部，附近的市鎮有伯恩利、尼爾森、科爾內、克利瑟羅和帕迪漢姆。山頂海拔557公尺（1,827英尺）。蘭開夏郡的彭德爾非都市區因其而得名。它是鮑蘭森林傑出自然風景區的一部分[2]。
歷史[編輯]
這座山因17世紀發生的三個事件而著名：彭德爾女巫審判（1612年）、理查德·湯利的氣壓表實驗（1661年），以及喬治·福克斯登山見異象（1652年），創立公誼會（貴格會）[3]。
今天的貴格會仍然使用彭德爾山這個名字，在美國費城附近設有彭德爾山貴格會研究和沉思中心（Pendle Hill Quaker Center for Study and Contemplation）[4]。
