2020年2月3日林貝克在Twitter上公開自己是雙性戀[5]，與配音員比利·卡梅茲（英语：Billy Kametz）交往，他於2022年6月9日因罹患大腸癌而病逝，享年35歲[6][7]，事後林貝克也在IG發文「這輩子都會帶著對你的愛活著」。[8]
