The Chinese Nationalist guerrillas withdrew from islands in the Chihchutao area in early July [sanitized] and are now concentrated on Yinshan (N 26-22, E 120-30). Chihchutao, Shuangfengtao, Machick, and Chuishan are now Chinese Communist controlled although not occupied by troops. The Nationalists have lost control over these islands and it is extremely difficult for them to return to the area.
