| 描述 | Three U.S. Navy Essex-class aircraft carriers tied up end to end along the quay wall of Naval Air Station (NAS) San Diego, California (USA), circa 1954-55. Pictured from left to right are USS Hancock (CVA-19), USS Kearsarge (CVA-33) and USS Princeton (CVS-37). This marked the first occasion that three Essex-class carriers were tied up at the San Diego base. Princeton was unmodernized, Kearsarge had received the SCB-27A modernization (1950-52) and Hancock SCB-27C (1951-54). |
