This is " the list of Er 兒氏 family lineage" inscribed on an oracle bone collected in The Couling-Chalfant Collection Of Inscribed Oracle Bone 《庫方二氏藏甲骨卜辭》 as No.1506. However, it is quite controversial on the authenticity of the text as a historical source. Some skeptical specialists are suspicious of the notable Er family existing, who had a scribe chisel the inscript on the ox scapula at that time, especially, on an unnatural use of the first character to the other texts in the same period.
