本模板可以根據維基數據顯示一個地方的人口規模以及年份。

Usage

The template shows the Wikidata population value of highest rank (typically the most recent reliable value) or, if several values have highest rank, the most recently entered value.

Current page

Example:

shows the population of the current article subject.

Articles sharing the same label

The template does not use the Wikidata label. These two places have the same label 斯德哥尔摩:

{{population WD|斯德哥尔摩}}

gives the population of 斯德哥尔摩: 984,748 (2022年、評估) .

{{population WD|麦迪逊_(威斯康星州市)}}

gives the population of 麦迪逊_(威斯康星州市): 269,840 (人口普查、2020年、2020年美國人口普查) .

Redirections

The redirection page 斯德哥爾摩 also works:

{{population WD|斯德哥爾摩}}

and gives: 984,748 (2022年、評估) .

Qid code

A last option is to use the qid code of a place, which however makes the wikicode less comprehensible, but is useful if the place has no Wikipedia article:

{{population WD|qid=q1754}}

results in the population of 斯德哥尔摩 (q1754): 984,748 (2022年、評估) .
